Job Description: -Trade finance processing including issuance of Letter of Credit, amendment to Letter of Credit, advising of export L/C, export L/C confirmation, reimbursement, import financing, export bills negotiation, inward and outward collections, purchasing or discounting of bills and all bills related transactions. -1st check of import / export LC documents Issuing of silent payment guarantee and discounting agreement, discounting receivables agreement, silent confirmation of payment guarantee undertaking. -Prepare telexes/swift messages for all bills related items. -Prepare faxes to customers for Maturity of Loan -Handle customers’ inquiries and liaising with concerned middle office and account manager -Arrange with dealers for funding needs for Bills transactions -Follow-up and review of outstanding items, including KIV of original letters and applications. -Sorting of daily transaction entries including matching of swift messages, advices and documents including despatch of DHL/LUM/by Hand documents. -Monitoring of daily maturing loans -Contact customers daily for collection of advice and documents including New Export L/Cs -Settlement of Advising commissions -Assisting in quarterly physical bills checking. -Batching uploading and inputting of entries -Create / Input customer loans for Risk Participation Transactions -Liaise with Loan Admin for the creation of customer number and facility lines in system whenever relevant -Cover duties of other Bills staff whenever necessary. -Other ad hoc duties as assigned by Team Leader &/or Department Head
