Job Description:

These positions are responsible for the accounts opening and maintenance of accounts documentation for Corporates and Private Banking customers.

They will review and verify customers\' documentation for account opening and updating of customers\' data
such as signing mandates and ensuring the completeness of a customer\'s file. This position is also responsible
for the ongoing review of the accounts opening process and documentation updates and makes
recommendations for process enhancements where applicable.

They also have to perform balance check.

They will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering as well as MAS626 guidelines
on customer due dilligence.

These positions are based in Singapore.


Key accountabilities (approx. 6-10):
a. Responsible for creation and maintenance of static datas (clients, counterparties)
b. Work in close cooperation with the business and Compliance to ensure that complete documentation are
received for the timely creation of clients\' accounts
c. Responsible for close monitoring of inactive accounts and ensure compliance to control procedures
d. Follow-up on pending documentation and submit regular status report on discrepancies (if any) to
Management.
e. Responsible for safe-keeping and proper archiving of client account opening documentation files
f. Make recommendations on work processes to enhance work efficiency and operational controls.
g. Perform signatories verification for customer payments/trade documents/credit facility agreements etc.
h. Acknowledgement of incoming funds and balance check for customer payments to ensure that the bank
does not pay out-of-pocket


Education/Skills required:
- GCE \"A\" Levels or Diploma in Banking/Business (Vocational training, university degree or similar)
- At least 3 – 5 years\' experience in similiar setup
- Strong problem solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Service oriented and a good team player
- Knowledge of MAS 626/1014 guidelines
- Well versed with respective local regulatory requirements and market practices in handling funds movements and processing of remittances
